Okay first of all, I hadn't read the exact quote in some time so a couple of details got past me, namely the lack of Crookshanks and the elf socks.
Second... I'm really not sure how I feel about this drawing. It's the first full pencil drawing I've done in years so that's a good thing, but I can't decide whether I like it or not. It's full of mistakes, but I think I don't hate it. Weird.

I just got an amazing drawing board for my birthday (early present) so I will try to do more of these.
