My very first realistic portrait. I used a reference from a Spanish magazine of a model wearing a collection of "British inspired stuff". They usually have pretty cool photoshoots so I will probably use it for more portraits like this one.

Anyway, this took me a day and a half: the first half I did half the face, and then my computer froze and even though I had saved it, the file was corrupted and I was unable to repair it or open it again. So I had to erase it, had a small nervous break-down, and then I started again the next day.

The hair is hideous, I know, but I tried and I tried and I didn't manage to make it frizzy. It turned out kinda curly and phoney. Frizzy hair is a BITCH.

This was done completely in Photoshop CS2 with a Wacom Intuos 3 tablet.

well i think the hair looks beautiful! and i love so much this picture because although it is realistic it has your style printed on it :D

i don't know how was your first attempt, but i have to say this is gorgeous! :hug: instant fav!

This is great! Frizzy hair is way hard to draw, but I love how it turned out. You really spent a lot of time looking at all the colors and seeing them as they are--SO hard to do! Congrats!
