I'm not a huge fan of Lily and Snape (I like them well enough, I'm just not crazy about them) but the other day while listening to the Deathly Hallows audiobook I started thinking about whether Lily ever thought of Snape after she got married. Like, if she ever wondered if he was okay, or missed him or anything. I think she probably did think of him from time to time.

i think she loved him, as a friend, and so definitely would have thought about him and maybe regretted breaking off her friendship with him. but i think that after leaving school, she would have admitted to herself that snape loved her as more than a friend and, being sensible, would have known that it would only hurt them both to reconnect. plus it would have bothered james.
